Dynamis is seeking a Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts for positions supporting Dynamis’ federal government, commercial, and international customers. The Recruiter will also support efforts to fill corporate positions and proposal staffing. The Recruiter will support line operations leadership (VP, Directors, and Managers) with all hiring and staffing needs and will report directly to the Director of Human Capital. Work will be performed at Dynamis corporate headquarters in Merrifield (Fairfax), VA.


  • Provide full lifecycle recruiting support, to include sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, submitting resumes to hiring managers, and coordinating interviews.
  • Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), review and post all job requisitions, and manage applicant workflow.
  • Quickly and efficiently fill immediate billable openings and staff proposals.
  • Provide timely and consistent feedback and recommendations on candidates to hiring managers.
  • Source technical and non-technical candidates using a variety of methodologies, including referrals, job boards, internal database, career and industry events, local colleges and universities, etc. 
  • Source passive candidates for high-priority job requisitions, and upload resumes to identify potential hires for existing vacancies, new positions, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Support Division Directors with incumbent capture and development and maintenance of a pipeline of qualified candidates for upcoming opportunities.
  • Lead weekly status updates for internal team on position and candidate progress. 
  • Recommend outside-the-box recruiting approaches and outreach strategies to develop and maintain future candidates, source for vacancies, and support proposals.
  • Maintain corporate resume database (employees, candidates, proposals), and support Managers with employee resume updates.
  • Maintain position descriptions, and support Managers with development and updating of accurate job summaries, responsibilities, and requirements.
  • Initiate background screenings and clearance verifications of all qualified candidates during interview stages prior to submission to customers/primes.
  • Work with Security and Managers to track clearance submissions and statuses.
  • Support the Employee Referral Program by receiving employee referrals and maintaining the referral resume database referral program tracking system.


  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including experience recruiting for federal contract positions
  • Successful track record of recruiting candidates and achieving aggressive recruiting goals in the government contracting industry
  • Experience recruiting for proposals, including incumbent captures
  • Strong technical knowledge and aptitude
  • Experience using and administering an ATS
  • Experience using different recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn, Monster, Glassdoor, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, Dice, cleared networks, etc.)
  • Knowledge of different sourcing methods, techniques, and resources to identify passive candidates
  • Ability to prioritize all job requisitions and manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and meet ALL deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible amid shifting requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and an outgoing personality
  • Proactive attitude, and ability to work independently with minimal guidance
